Militant outfit calls for shutdown in Imphal against Modi's rally

Modi seeks to strike a chord with the people by pitching his Gujarat model of development to Manipur

A militant outfit in Imphal called for a shutdown on Saturday showing strong resistance towards Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally.

Modi is scheduled to address two public rallies in Assam and Manipur followed by another in Chennai.

Modi would try to strike a chord with the people by pitching his Gujarat model of development to Manipur.
