As soon as leader of opposition Satyadev Katare read out names of Akshay Singh and those who died in mysterious circumstances and believed to have some link with Vyapam scam, Parliament Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra raised objection.
Other members of BJP said the Congress was not following traditions of the House.
Jeetu Patwari, a member of Congress Party, entered the House in black attire to show his protest against Vyapam scam. Later, Speaker Sitasharan Sharma adjourned the house till tomorrow.
Yesterday, Katare had said that the Congress had written to Sharma that the House should express condolence to those people who "died under mysterious circumstances in Vyapam scam".
The ongoing Monsoon Session is likely to be stormy as Congress would intensify its demand for resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Vyapam issue. "A fair probe cannot be ascertained if the chief minister remains in his office," Katare said.
Congress said it would also raise issue of 'lawlessness' in the state as journalist Sandeep Kothari was kidnapped from Balaghat district and burnt alive allegedly by mining mafia last month. His charred body was found in Maharashtra.
Vyapam (MP Professional Examination Board) scam is about rigging of entrance examination for professional courses and government jobs, conducted by the institutions. Politicians, bureaucrats and high profile middlemen used fraudulent means to ensure success in exam in lieu of money and not merit.
Following a 9th July Supreme Court order, the CBI is probing the scam and has registered more than ten cases in the matter.
