The president of India Pranab Mukherjee and Union Human Resource Development Minister are on the visit of the state capital today.

Katare, along with NSUI members and other Congress members held demonstration at chief minister's residence. "The police used water cannon which hit Karate and he fell from the barricade. He has sustained injuries and was sent to nearby hospital," a state Congress member said. The police have arrested several NSUI activists in this regard.
