Hails govt's historic decision to increase the FDI limit in defence from 26 to 49%

Hailing the government's historic decision on Wednesday to increase the foreign direct investment (FDI) limit in defence from 26 to 49 per cent, Lt Gen K J Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Chandimandir-based Western Command, exhorted the small and medium industries from the north, especially Punjab and Chandigarh, to aggressively take part in defence production. He was inaugurating a three-day conference.
