A documentary exploring life inside Asia's largest naval academy, the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala in Kannur district, will have its world premiere on National Geographic Channel on August 15.

The documentary while showcasing the strength and determination of naval officers, who are tasked to protect the nation, also aims to show the life of cadets undergoing training, an INA release said today.

The academy has been designated as a 'prestigious' project of national importance and shapes the Indian Navy's future leadership, with an aim to produce morally straight, intellectually strong and physically fit officers with clear articulation, good grooming and developed mentoring abilities, the release said.

The documentary would be telecast at 9 pm on Independence Day.
