The Centre has not fixed any time limit for implementation of performance-linked incentives to its employees, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
The Government has accepted in principle the recommendation of the sixth central pay commission for introduction of a performance-related incentive scheme (PRIS) in the form of pecuniary benefit over and above the regular salary, based on the targeted performance and performance parameters.
"No time frame has been fixed," Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh told Lok Sabha in a written reply to a question seeking detail of time set for the implementation of the scheme.
