Covid-19 can cause neuromuscular issues in those patients who did not have such problems before, according to a new research. In those patients who earlier had some issues, procedures to stimulate immunity can in fact increase symptoms of Covid-19, it says.

The review of studies, published in the RRNMF Neuromuscular Journal, assessed research mentioning Covid-19 and neuromuscular conditions, published since the beginning of the pandemic through June 18, 2020 -- a total of 547 publications.
