An Indian-origin educationist in the UK, who moved to Britain after her marriage with no English language skills, has been named the ‘Asian Businesswoman of the Year’ in an award ceremony in Birmingham.
 
Sixty-five-year-old Dame Asha Khemka, Principal and CEO of West Nottinghamshire College, was honoured for her efforts in the field of education and skills at the Asian Business Awards ceremony on Friday.
