With dense fog enveloping several parts India, flight operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport were disrupted on Monday. Several trains were also fully or partially cancelled. Delhi recorded an average minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, in accordance with the IMD forecast. The maximum temperature is expected to touch 18 degrees Celsius.
"It will be mainly clear sky with moderate to dense fog in the morning. Haze or smoke will be thereafter with maximum temperature touching 18 degrees Celsius and minimum remaining at 7 degrees Celsius," Met officials said in its forecast for Monday.
