Gadkari's daughter Ketki, youngest of his three children, will tie the knot with Aditya Kaskhedikar, who works with Facebook in the US.
According to sources, Amit Shah will come to Nagpur on Saturday night from Delhi and return after the wedding.
Apart from Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of State for Power, Coal Piyush Goyal and some other BJP national leaders are also likely to be present on the occasion.
Maharastra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, his counterparts from neighbouring states- Raman Singh (Chhattisgarh), Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), yoga teacher Ramdev and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray are also expected to be in attendance.
