President highlights contribution of women

President Pranab Mukherjee, inaugurating the global meet on ‘Women Speakers of Parliament on Gender Sensitive Parliaments’ on Wednesday, highlighted the stellar contribution of women to the Indian Parliament, and cited the examples of Speaker Meira Kumar, leader of the ruling UPA coalition Sonia Gandhi and leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj.
