Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will join Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Chief Ministers of 15 states and Union Territories via video conference today at 3 pm.
The states/UTs which will participate in the meeting, being held through video conferencing include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, the worst affected among states in the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier yesterday, the PM had held a similar meeting with heads of 21 states/UTs. He had asserted that there is a need to boost health infrastructure with an emphasis on testing and tracing and also economic activity should be increased.
