Putting to rest days of speculation, BCCI President N Srinivasan, who was forced to step aside in the wake of the IPL spot-fixing scandal, today arrived to attend the Board's Working Committee meeting here.
Srinivasan, who is based in Chennai, was originally scheduled to arrive here last evening but came this morning and went straight to the hotel where the meeting will take place this afternoon.
At the airport, he was received by Cricket Association of Bengal's Treasurer Biswarup Dey, who escorted him to the venue of the meeting.

The hearing will now be conducted on September 11 and notices have been sent to Srinivasan and the BCCI on the matter.
Another setback for Srinivasan and the Board was the apex court's decision to admit a Cricket Association of Bihar petition seeking a fresh panel to enquire the IPL spot-fixing scandal, in which the BCCI chief's son-in-law was also implicated.
With no headway in sight, it remains to be seen whether the Annual General Meeting would be held before September 30.
