After the Supreme Court on Tuesday declared the practice of instant divorce unconstitutional, Business Standard takes a look at the Census 2011 data that show the rate of separation among Muslim women is same as their Hindu counterparts.

The data also show that Muslim women are least educated, compared to their counterparts in other communities.

Also, the number of non-working women among Muslims is the highest after Jains.
