BJP leader Subramanian Swamy today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action on an Income Tax report regarding the assets of former finance minister P Chidambaram and his family members.

Swamy said the I-T department had submitted the report to the Finance Ministry six months ago seeking nod for further action.

Swamy had last month accused the senior Congress leader's son Karthi and companies the latter owns of having 21 undisclosed foreign accounts.

Karthi had, however, rubbished the allegation as "outrageous" and asserted that all his "assets are duly reflected in I-T filings".
