Sugar mill owners booked for not paying farmers dues

Owners of two sugar mills have been booked for allegedly not paying money due to farmers, officials said here today.

The owners were booked yesterday under the Essential Commodities Act on the directive of the state government for for not clearing dues to the farmers, District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma told reporters.

The two mills are Mansurpur Sugar Mills and Uttam Sugar Mills Khae Kheri.
