Tally ties up with Osmani University to offer vocational training

Students will be offered one month training

Tally Solutions Private Limited, a Bangalore-based business solutions software provider, has partnered Osmania University, Hyderabad to provide vocational training to students through distance education.

As part of the collaboration, students undergoing the programme are offered a one-month long training, for which all the learning material will be provided by Tally. Osmania University will award them with a certificate on successful completion of the course.

“We strongly believe that providing the right vocational training will go a long way in addressing the unemployability crisis that the country is facing. Students have to be skilled enough to sustain in this competitive industry,” Shoaib Ahmed, president of Tally Solutions, said in a release.
 
Tally plans to extend this programme to more number of colleges in and around Hyderabad under Osmania University, which came into existence in 1918. The varsity has about 350 affiliated colleges in Hyderabad. They enroll 55,000 students every year for commerce for all the colleges affiliated to them. These colleges also have around 4,000 students for distance learning.
