Three held in Uttar Pradesh for duping, posing as tax officials

Three persons were arrested for allegedly cheating people of money by posing as Income Tax officials on Kandhla-Budhana road in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, police said.

Kandhla SHO Anuradha Singhal said the accused Nitin Kumar, Sushil and Bablu were arrested on Monday after complaints were received of people being duped by three people travelling in their vehicles.

An SUV vehicle, mobile phones and some cash have been seized from their possession, Singhal added.

The accused are currently being interrogated
