Trinamool Congress rubbished Congress allegation that the party was tilting towards NDA and on Wednesday said on the contrary Congress was trying to manage BJP for 'floor arrangement' to pass some of the bills in next session of Parliament.

''It is absolutely bogus and baseless allegation that TMC is tilting towards BJP,'' Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Mukul Roy told PTI. ''It was Congress which is trying to manage BJP so they can make floor management for some of the bills in the coming Parliament session,'' Roy, the former Railway minister, said adding CPI(M) might also support them. Trinamool Congress, he said, was firm in its opposition to FDI in retail, cap on subsidised LPG cylinders and diesel price hike.

''There is no question of compromise on this issue'' and at the moment Trinamool Congress was for building up a Federal Front, he said. The Trinamool Congress statement came a day after West Bengal PCC president Pradip Bhattacharya alleged gthat Trinamool Congress was inclining towards BJP-led NDA.
