Amitabh Bachchan turns 72, Twitter celebrates

Fans from all over the world have been pouring their wishes on Twitter with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayAmitabhBachchan

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachhchan turns 72 today. The tech savvy star is known to be highly proactive on social media especially micro blogging website Twitter.

 

With a whopping 10 million twitter followers he is the most popular Indian celebrity on the site. Fans from all over the world have been pouring  their wishes on Twitter with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayAmitabhBahchan. 

 

He has also launched an initiative to connect with his fans on his birthday on Twitter. Fluence, a Celebrity Digital media network  along with Twitter began a hashtag #AB72Wishes,  which will enable fans to get digitally signed posters of the star.

And even as  Big B continues to communicate with his audience on twitter, younger stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are yet to reach the 10 million mark. Not without reason why Bachchan is still called as the biggest star this country has produced and is still going strong at 72.
