UPSC Central Armed Police Forces Examination to be held on Sunday

Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Assistant Commandants (AC) Examination 2016 all over India, this Sunday, on June 26, 2016. The written examination is conducted for recruitment of AC (Group A) in the CAPF for the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). 

e-Admit card

The Commission has already uploaded e-Admit cards for the examination on its website www.upsc.gov.in. Although the candidates can download the card till the June 26, i.e. the date of the exam, they are advised avoid last minute rush and take a printout well in advance. Last year, some candidates faced difficulty in accessing the cards as the servers slowed down unexpectedly due to overload.  
 
In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e-Admit cards, candidates are advised to carry two identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of Identity such as Identity Card or Voter Identity Card or Passport or Driving License and the printout of e-Admit Card at the venue of the examination. 
 
In case of any discrepancy in the e-Admit Card, candidates should approach the Commission immediately with: 

1. Name and year of the examination

2. Registration ID (RID)

3. Roll number (If received)

4. Name of candidate 

5. Complete postal address as given in the application 

6. Valid and active e-mail id

CAPF Exams

The examination comprises two papers. Paper I will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper II will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks

Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks

Candidates are advised to bring black ballpoint pen for the objective questions. 

Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be summoned for physical standards/ physical efficiency tests and medical standards tests.
