Vice President Dr Hamid Ansari today arrived at Bhuj in Kutch district to attend convocation ceremony of Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma University.
Ansari and his wife Salma were received by Gujarat Governor O P Kohli and agriculture minister Babu Bokhiria at Bhuj airport, official statement from state information department said.
Ansari later left for Dhordo village in Bhuj, known for its white desert, where he will stay tonight. Tomorrow he will attend the convocation. He is also scheduled to visit office of the NGO KHAMIR, which works for Kutch artisans and handicrafts, at Bhuj.
