On Sunday morning, a 62 year old Sikh man, along with his family, was due to board a train from Wentworthville station, near Sydney, Australia. However, in an unfortunate incident, while he was waiting to get their tickets, his granddaughter's pram started to slide down a slight slope on the platform. Before anyone could catch hold of the pram, it plunged onto the tracks, where a high-speed freight train was about to pass.
Worrying for the safety of his granddaughter, the man jumped onto the tracks, grabbing both the baby and the pram. He handed them over to his family waiting on the platform, before running off the track, saving his own life.
