Yogi Adityanath's Hindu Yuva Vahini receives 5,000 applications a day

Besides Aadhaar and voter ID being sought, detailed background checks on applicants are being done

Hindu Yuva Vahini, the oraganisation set up in 2002 by Yogi Adityanath, now the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, is receiving a huge number of applications for enrolment of members, reports the Economic Times.

Earlier there was no strict process followed for enrolments. But now, a set of guidlines has been issued. Apart form submitting the Aadhaar card and voter ID, a detailed background check is being done of the applicants. 

"Be very careful before inducting any new members into the organisation," reads a note posted on the Hindu Yuva Vahini website.
