An All India Youth Leadership programme will be held here from June 28 which would be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (independent charge) Sarbananda Sonowal.
Nearly 600 youths from 15 states are expected take part in it.
The purpose of the three-day programme is to acquaint the youth with the character building message of Swami Vivekananda, to develop their leadership qualities and to channelise their energy towards socio-economic development and growth of the nation, Swami Nikhileswarananda of Ramkrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, which is organising the event, told mediapersons here today.
Arunima Sinha, the female amputee who climbed Mount Everest, and other achievers in different fields would be felicitated at the event, he added.
