Union minister Piyush Goyal will hold a motivational session with cricketer Yuvraj Singh (pictured).

The event would be held on Friday in New Delhi, and will be attended by officials from Goyal’s four ministries: Mines, coal, power, and new and renewable energy.

This is second such session hosted by the minister. The first was in May 2014, after National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government took charge at the Centre. The guest speaker then was author Chetan Bhagat. It was followed by an open house session for officials to suggest improvements.

Senior officials said it is a review meeting as well. Goyal, on completion of two years of the NDA government at the Centre, had issued letters of appreciation and thank you notes to one million employees of his ministries. The note was gifted to all his employees in a wooden frame, and the note also listed achievements made over two years.

After successfully battling cancer, Yuvraj Singh started YouWeCan, to help cancer patients and survivors.

He keeps conducting several motivational sessions, television shows, radio talks, among others, to help cancer patients and survivors. In 2013, Singh penned his autobiography, The Test of My Life: From Cricket to Cancer and Back.
