Amp Sanmar Sets Huge Target

AMP Sanmar in the next ten years has a target of 10 million life insurance cover and plans to have operational tie ups with local and regional banks as they have better reach into the society Jeffrey Mayer, the managing director of AMP Sanmar, told reporters here last week.

Australia Mutual Providence has tied up with the Chennai-based Sanmar and is the largest company dealing in pensions and life insurance. AMP Sanmar is targeting the South Indian market basically in life insurance and retirement income.

By this year-end it aims at having 50,000 life covers from 75,000 policies.
