$7.5 Billion Fdi A Year Feasible Target

The Planning Commission yesterday said that foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow of around $7.5 billion per annum would be a feasible target during the Tenth Plan.

The draft Plan approved by the full meeting of the Planning Commission, chaired by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, also said domestic resources would have to fund the overwhelming percentage of resources required for the Plan to achieve an 8 per cent rate of growth per fiscal.
