The government today claimed that New Delhi had informed all neighbouring countries about the proposed test-firing of Agni III missile a week ago, as per the standard norms for missile testing.

External affairs ministry spokesperson Navtej Sarna said, "India had followed all safety requirements of missile testing by informing all ATCs (Air Traffic Control authorities) a week ago."

He said so far the Indonesian government had not lodged any protest as claimed by the authorities in Jakarta.
