US President Barack Obama's visit to India would strengthen the strategic relations between the two democratic countries, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Jitin Prasada has said.
"Obama's visit will strengthen ties between the two countries, besides generating employment and industrial growth opportunities in both the nations," Prasad said while addressing a public meeting in Behjam block yesterday.
"The US president had accorded great importance to India during his maiden visit to the Asian countries. This would help boost the bilateral relations between the two nations," he said.
Earlier, Prasada accused the ruling BSP government in the Uttar Pradesh for failing to implement centrally sponsored programmes in the state for vested political interests.
