Andhra Pradesh industries and commerce secretary B P Acharya has called upon the members of the city chapter of Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO) to take up an initiative to set up a woman entrepreneur park on the lines of the park set up by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (Aleap) at Gajularamaram on the city outskirts.

He said the state government would extend all assistance if the FLO's city chapter came forward to set up a park for its members.

Acharya was inaugurating the Business Consultancy Cell created by FLO's Hyderabad chapter to render free services to women entrepreneurs in setting up their own ventures.

FLO Hyderabad chapter president Mangaish Rao said the formation of Business Consultancy Cell was a major milestone in the empowerment of women entrepreneurs. The cell would act as one-stop window for all information on diversified statutory compliances, procedures and obligations. Chandra Garodia, the national president of FLO, was also present on the occasion.

He reminded the FLO members that the government had also rendered assistance for a second women entrepreneurs' park at Vijayawada in the food processing segment.
