Even as JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy prepares to be sworn in as chief minister with support of the BJP, an astrologer from Dharwad has predicted that the Janata Dal(S)-BJP tie will last 10-12 months and elections held in January 2007.

The astrologer, Mahabaleshwar Ishwar Hegde, from Dharwad said on Thursday that H D Kumaraswamy as chief minister and BJP's B S Yediyurappa as deputy chief minister will be at the helm in Karnataka till November this year. Differences will crop up between the parties in October and will aggravate by November. The government will fall and elections will be held in the early part of 2007.

"Jupiter and Raahu influence each other. Jupiter is influencing the house of Mars. Raahu is dominant and symbolises the eldest son of Shiva that is Subrahmanya, also known as Kumaraswamy. Mars also symbolises Subrahmanya. Thus, H D Kumaraswamy will become chief minister," predicts Mahabaleshwar Ishwar Hegde.

The Janata Dal (S)-BJP combine will provide better governance than the one of Dharam Singh. But Jupiter, which is now in the Venus will move to Mars in OctoberoNovember. That will lead to a fight between the alliance partners and finally they will break away," Hegde analyses.

It may be recalled that soon after the Assembly elections in 2004, M I Hegde had predicted that a Kshatriya will become the chief minister and a backward class leader will be the deputy chief minister.

Accordingly, Dharam Singh and Siddaramaiah became CM and deputy CM. Hegde had also said that the BJP and Janata Dal (S) will form the government after a certain period in Karnataka.

His prediction that Sonia Gandhi will not become the prime minister of India had come at a time when the Congress, under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi emerged victorious in the Parliament elections. When everybody expected her to take over as prime minister, Hegde had predicted that there was no chance of a woman becoming the prime minister.
