Reliance Industries has announced plans of investing Rs 1,000 crore in various projects in Kerala over the next three years.
Chairman Mukesh Ambani said at the inaugural function of the first-ever Global Investors' Meet (GIM) organised in the state on Saturday, that the group was committed to bringing in a digital revolution in India.
Urging Kerala to focus on IT and tourism, Ambani said Reliance Infocomm would create thousands of entrepreneurs in Kerala and take major initiatives in IT-enabled services.
RIL already laid an OFC link in all 14 districts of Kerala covering 62 towns and the same would be extended throughout state, he added.
