The Lalkar march, organised by the Yuva Samata Party as a symbolic protest against the prevailing corruption in the state, culminated in a public meeting at the hartali crossing on the Beilley Road here. A seven- member delegation of the Yuva Samata Party, led by its president Anand Mohan, MP, met state Governor A R Kidwai and submitted a memorandum demanding immediate ouster of the Chief Minister and dissolution of the state assembly.
The meeting resolved to strive for the removal of the corrupt Laloo government.

The meeting critised Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and CBI director Joginder Singh for their alleged role in trying to scuttle the fodder scam investigation and urged joint director (CBI) U N Biswas, who had been entrusted by Patna High Court to unearth the multi-crore animal husbandry racket, to immediately arrest Yadav, against whom ample evidences had surfaced in course of investigation.
