Eleven companies including a Singapore construction company have shown interest to take up the world class infrastructure project Pharma City at Visakhapatnam.
APIIC, the nodal agency for this project, called for expression of interest (EOI) in October from infrastructure developers to create the facilities with their own investment. Eleven companies submitted EOI bids.
Along with the Sembcorp Engineers and Constructors Private Limited, Singapore, 10 other Indian developers have submitted their bids.

The other EOI bidders are: Tata Housing Development Company, Maridi Ecotherm Systems Limited, JTCI consultants (India) Private Limited, Wartsila NSD India Limited, IVRCL infrastructures and Projects Limited, Zoom Developers Private Limited, Ramkay Enviro Engineers Limited, Norne Estates Private Limited, Suresh Goel and Associates, Associated Constructions and Investments Company.
The proposed Pharma City will be developed in 2000 acres of land at Parawada near Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs 300 crores. APIIC will finalise the bidder by March.
