Eleven school children, aged between 5 to 8 years were killed when a school bus ferrying them collided head-on with a truck on Saha- Shahabad highway (near Ambala) on Monday morning. Driver of the school van was also reported to be killed, besides injuring other school children.
The school van was carrying students of a private school, located near Saha. Eight children and the driver died in Ambala, one child died at the government hospital, Shahabad and two children breathed their last in government medical college and hospital, Chandigarh.
