16 cos bag CII energy awards

 K Vasudevan, chairman, energy and environment sub-committee, CII-southern region said the award for energy excellence is now an institutionalised event of CII and this year 131 companies competed for the award.

 Winners of the award including some of the leading corporates in India like TI Cycles, Ford India, Madras Cements, Reliance Industries, TISCO, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors. The awards were given away by D Jayakumar, minister for law, IT and electricity, government of Tamil Nadu.
