2 more drugs in WHO list

The World Health Organisation has added an anti-retroviral made by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and another by South African firm, Aspen Pharmacare, to its list of approved anti-AIDS drugs.
 
The list, which contains drugs manufactured by Indian drug majors like Ranbaxy etc, now has 70 life-extending drugs that the United Nations' health agency recommends for fighting the deadly disease.
