3 coop sugar mills get 9 bids

 A total number of nine bids have been received for the three co-operative sugar units that are on the block in the state. Andhra Sugars and Krebs Biochemicals Limited are among the five bidders that are in race for the West Godavari Cooperative Sugars.

 The other bidders for the unit include Ayyappa Sugar Private Limited, Gowthami Solvent Oils Private Limited and Shree Vaani Sugars and Industries Limited.

 All the five eligible bidders have to participate in the price bids which would open on October 10.

 Turbomachinery Engineering and Delta Sugars Limited are vying to purchase the Nizamabad Cooperative Sugar Factory, while GMR Technologies and Industries and NCS Sugars Limited are in the race for the Amadalavalasa Cooperative sugar unit.

 The price bids for these two cooperative sugar units would also be opened on October 10.

 The Implementation Secretariat, which is assisting and advising the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to transfer the cooperative sugar mills to private sector, in a release said that the sale of three cooperative sugar units drew a good response from the interested parties.
