6.28% votes cast in Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat

An estimated 6.28% of the total 13.62 lakh electorate exercised their franchise in the initial hours of polling in the Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency in the second phase of Lok Sabha polls.

The polling percentage in two assembly segments of Kishtwar and Inderwal in Kishtwar District was 7.70%, while it was 6% in two other assembly segments of Doda and Bhaderwah in Doda district, Chief Electoral Officer B R Sharma said.

The highest polling percentage of 9.99 was recorded in Bani assembly segment and the lowest of 3.96 in Basholi segment- both in Kathua district, the CEO said.
