Seventy five exhibitors in handicrafts and handloom sectors would showcase their products at the two-day International Buyer-Seller meet to be held in the city from February 24-25.
Moreover, 31 overseas buyers, exporters and buying agents from within the country have confirmed their participation for the event which is organized jointly by the Union commerce ministry and the Orissa government.
The buyer-seller meet will enable the overseas buyers to get a first hand feel of the products they want to source and they can directly source the products in the form in which they are displayed or with modification as per their requirement.
Addressing reporters here, Arati Ahuja, the state textiles and handloom secretary said, the buyer-seller meet will provide an ideal opportunity for the overseas buyers for placing orders at very competitive rates.
