Aarey colony rehab plan forwarded to slum body

 The Maharashtra government has forwarded a rehabilitation scheme for the nearly 4,000 slum dwellers in the Aarey Milk colony located in the northern suburb of Goregaon in Mumbai to the Slum Redevelopment Authority (SRA).  The scheme will be implemented by a private sector developer. The developer will get rights to sell one-and-a-half times the space provided by him as free houses to slum dwellers.  According to documents available with the Business Standard:
