ActionAir launches Karm Mitra

ActionAid India, which works for the impoverished groups in the country, today launched a unique donor loyaltry programme 'Karm Mitra' (Friends in Action) in the city in the presence of luminaries like Ramoji Rao and his family, GVK Reddy and his family, ICICI Bank head (cards) B Madhavan and others.

 
Harsh Mander, the country director of ActionAid, said the society had signed MoUs with ICICI Bank, Om Kotak Mahindra, Heritage Hotels, Reliance Infocom and Mantra Entertainment to bring to the Karm Mitra community various benefits for thinking and acting to bring about a change in the society.

 
Karm Mitra programme is also being encouraged by Times Foundation. This is the first time an NGO has promoted a product offering that aims at sensitising and inducing people to donate for good causes, Mander stated in a release.
