President and CEO of global power giant AES Corp Dennis Bakke is meeting power minister Suresh Prabhu here tomorrow.
Bakke is likely to discuss AES plans to takeover the controversial Dabhol power project and the payment problems of the company in Orissa, with Prabhu. He is also likely to meet finance minister Yashwant Sinha in this connection.
AES has already talked to the lenders of Enron-promoted Dabhol project including IDBI, and the finance ministry, on the modalities of a possible takeover of the project.
