After goading Delhiites to refuse to pay power bills, anti corruption activist and politician Arvind Kejriwal's next target for a similar treatment is Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder SIngh Hooda.
As the Government is readying to pass the newest version o f the Land Acquisition Bill that allows acquisition for public purpose without any consent of the people, anti corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal today gave a call to farmers in Haryana to refuse to part with a single inch of land in future to either the Government or private sector in the state.
He also asked the people to be prepared to take back all the gram sabha land that has been acquired by Government and distributed to various companies. He said a State High court order of February 3, 2011 allowed them to do so and hence they should fulfil this order, break the buildings that have come up on that land and take abck the land.
He called on farmers to be willing to die for their land and he said he would reach anywhere land was being acquired and stop acquisition that was happening against the wishes of the people.
Kejriwal said he would replicate his strategy he followed in Delhi with the Government and the power companies where he had askd people to stop payhing their power bills. Whenever people refused to pay bills, their power supply was being disconnected. I would then go there and reconnect the supply. We would do the same thing in Haryana where land is being acquired for any purpose, Kejriwal told cheering crowds of farmers who had come for a 'mahapanchayat of farmers’ from Sonipat, Rohtak, Fatehabad , Biwani, Manesar, Gudgaon, Mewat and Faridabad in the state.

The revelations are going to be an important issue and an important personality, sources said. It would not be about land or farmers, but another important issue, they said.
When asked if the person would be from Congress or someone as prominent as Robert Vadra whom Kejriwal today kept referring to as the nation’s son in law, IAC member Prashant Bhushan laughed and said wait and see.
