Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching a Rs 1 trillion Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and said it will generate new employment opportunities and strengthen the rural economy.

In a series of tweets in Hindi, Shah said agriculture is the foundation of the Indian economy and the Modi government has been striving to strengthen it for the last six years.
