In a bid to cash in on the growing auto sector in Gujarat, Ahmedabad-based ERP solutions provider Intech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is vying for foundries and capital equipment manufacturing (CEM) SMEs in the state. Based on the Microsoft platform, the company plans to offer customised ERP solutions for the foundries and CEM SMEs in Gujarat.
"Recently, we bagged an order for customised ERP solutions from Bhagwati Spherocast that supplies components to Eicher Motors. We are also witnessing an increased demand among Rajkot-based foundry SMEs that are seeking customised ERP solutions. We have, therefore, set a target of attracting at least 20 foundry clients in near future," said Ashok Mehta, managing director, Intech Systems Pvt. Ltd.
A Microsoft partner firm, the company has been expanding its offering of end-to-end solutions on Dynamics NAV, AX and SharePoint platform for the manufacturing and oil and gas verticals. "We are also looking at other verticals like telecom and micro verticals in manufacturing for expansion of ERP offerings. For instance, we have been servicing clients like John Energy, Hitachi Hi-Rel and Voltemp in Gujarat," said Mehta.
According to Mehta, of total 600-odd foundries in Rajkot alone, about 60 firms have a turnover of Rs 30-50 crore which are looking for customised ERP solutions. "Gujarat is set to become an auto hub and foundries have been on the expansion modes. Following this, we have already bagged certain orders worth Rs two crore and are in talks with other potential clients in the state," he added.
Apart from ERP solutions, Intech Systems also plans to offer cloud based computing services to its clients in near future. "In addition, we plan to add Microsoft CRM to our product portfolio by the year-end and to offer cloud computing services in near future. For instance, we are in talks with CLP Engineering in Gujarat, which manufactures industrial fans, for cloud computing services," said Mehta.
Intech Systems currently services clients in manufacturing sector and oil and gas sectors like John Energy and Voltemp.
The company, which has 15 clients and over 80 installations, is also looking to tap pharma equipment manufacturing units in Gujarat. "The foundry and CEM sectors alone should help us garner a turnover of Rs 10 crore in next three years," Mehta added.
