Deputy prime minister L K Advani on Sunday flagged off the Parashnath Express from Ahmedabad, which will run once in a week between Ahmedabad and Dhanbad, via Parashnath.
The Union railway ministry, Nitish Kumar, who was also present at the flag-off function, announced a Rs 2 crore aid for the development of passenger amenities in Ahmedabad railway station. Another plan of Rs 4 crore was also announced for developing Ahmedabad, Palanpur, Gandhidham and Mehsana as
