BS Reporter New Delhi
In the wake of the delay in admissions to IITs and IIMs due to the controversy over OBC quotas, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has asked professional institutes under it to return the fees if any student decides to change the institute at a later stage.

This is expected to benefit students who may have a chance of getting into any of the IIMs or IITs"" admissions to which have been delayed""but have joined any other institute to secure a seat.

According to the communication, the entire fees has to be returned, except for Rs 1,000 charged as processing charges.
