Airtel Makes Incoming Free In Punjab, Haryana

AirTel has triggered a tariff war in non-metro circles by announcing free incoming calls from any network for its customers in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

AirTel is the first service provider in the country to announce the free incoming regime, following a notification by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India to make all incoming calls free from April 1, 2003.

The free incoming facility is available even for AirTel
